Waitomo Accommodation

All our rooms have private entrances and, because the buildings are on a slope, all have views over the cottage garden. There are steps with handrails, but people with mobility problems may find access difficult. Our rooms are not suitable for babies and children under 3 years old. We do not accept bookings for children less than 3 years of age.

There is free Wi-Fi access and a laptop computer available for use by guests.

Included in the price is a large continental breakfast, which is served buffet-style in our dining room, with lovely views over the countryside. If the weather is warm enough breakfast can be taken on the front deck.

This is on the top floor of a two-storey building, so it has lovely views over the garden and surrounding countryside. There is an area with a table and chairs to sit out and enjoy the bird song. Room 1 has a queen bed and a single bed with an ensuite bathroom.

This room is below Room 1. This can be used as a family room as it has a queen bed and 2 single beds. It has an ensuite bathroom. There is a covered area for sitting out just down the steps.

This is a small cottage with 2 single beds and a small ensuite bathroom. There is a covered area for sitting out just down the steps.

This is a cabin behind Room 5 with a queen bed and small ensuite bathroom. This room has good views of the surrounding countryside. This room does not get Wi-Fi connection, but it is available in every other room and the covered area near reception.

Room 7

This room is part of the house with its own entrance and access. It has a separate bathroom along a short corridor with a bath, shower, washbasin and toilet. Only guests in Room 7 use it. Room 7 has a queen bed, a king single bed and there is a trundle single bed available if needed. There is a door, which goes through to Room 8. This is useful for large family groups who want to use both these rooms.

This room is part of the house with its own entrance and access. It has a queen bed and a small ensuite bathroom. This room adjoins Room 7, so can be ideal for family groups or friends who want to be near each other. There is a covered area in front of Room 8 with a table and chairs, which is ideal for sitting out watching the world go by or enjoying views of the garden and local countryside.
